Curriculum

The Pre-K 4 program emphasizes kindergarten readiness with an increased focus on literacy and mathematics skills. Our literacy-rich curriculum invites children to ask questions and express ideas through discussion, dramatic play, storytelling, journaling, and drawing. To develop mathematical skills, children learn to count, manipulate objects, create patterns, sort, compare and measure. Teachers implement a theme-based curriculum that organizes information around a unified context. The themes are organized under three main categories: Me and My Community, Nature, and Ecosystems. Teachers use music, art, dramatic play, storytelling, games, books, and experiments to ignite imagination and bring the theme to life in four weeks of wonder.
