I have been teaching at NIA for the past twenty years. I obtained my associates degree in educational science from Al-Balqa Applied University of Jordan. As a QAIS teacher, one of my driving forces is to watch students grow spiritually, get grounded in their religion, and apply their knowledge every day. As an Arabic teacher, I strive to pass my passion for the language of the Quran to my students. In my class, students feel comfortable and engaged as they build connections with one another and with the language through using the Responsive Classroom approach. I believe that it is only when teachers put their hearts into their work that students show the most growth and transformation.
