The education of even a small child, therefore, does not aim at preparing him for school, but for life.

Maria Montessori

With an associates degree in Liberal Arts, and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, my academic work derives from the pedagogies of Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, Maria Montessori, and John Dewey, but the most important teachers in my practice are my own students that teach and guide me every day. I believe that the most wonderful gifts we can give our children are agency and confidence, hence we model those skills through love and mutual respect in my classroom everyday. I have the utmost faith in each and every one of my students’ ability to succeed inside and outside of the classroom, and I feel proud knowing that our students will shape the future of tomorrow; they will truly change our world for the better.
