Our goal at the middle school level is to transform students into lifelong learners. Our Pre-AP curriculum is designed to prepare students for high school, not just in terms of information and knowledge, but also in how they think, how they process information. Students begin to write essays, work in science labs, and complete school service projects. Our academics in middle school also offers students more rigor, where students are working on more tasks, reading more books, and completing more activities.
In terms of curriculum, we also use many different resources, including Springboard for ELA and Math, Houghton Mifflin, APEX, and other digital platforms and resources. Teachers also use College Board Standards for ELA and Math, and state standards for Science and Social Studies.
