One of our main goals at the high school level is to foster college and career readiness. Students learn in a dynamic environment where they are challenged to think critically and engage actively in their own education. They continue to build essential life skills, beliefs, and attitudes to succeed in life beyond grade school. NIA’s academic program is designed to appropriately challenge students as they develop new skills while engaging with rich content. It allows students to sustain a growth mindset when facing new challenges, develop problem-solving and reflective skills, and collaborate and learn from and with others.
High school students complete state graduation requirements, take necessary standardized tests, enroll in AP courses, and complete other required course work.
While preparation for college is central, the mission of the High School is to develop thoughtful citizens who are confident, responsible, and respectful of themselves and others.
